Pix got us to help rebuild a legacy application that they had made with a previous company. The aim was to build a platform from which they can manage all their sites in London.
We developed a bespoke solution for Pix built on our Dachi framework. The result is an application through which they can manage all their staff, Staff rotas for multiple restaurants, Holiday requests and approvals, Log HACCP temperatures for food safety standards, Order from suppliers, check in said orders and more.
NJLive creates and organises events such as game previews, product launches and PR Stunts. As such they have a lot of hardware going out to multiple locations that need tracking.
They asked us to develop a solution that would allow them to use a barcode scanner via Bluetooth to a mobile device. Allowing the team on site and the warehouse to track hardware.
We also created a web portal that gave the team the ability to track the apps, bulk print QR codes and manage users and permissions across the system.
Founded in 1930 as The Daily Worker, The Morning Star is the only English-language socialist daily newspaper in the world and it’s published six days a week.
We have been working with the Morning Star for three years. We've re-developed their website, providing them with a CMS that allows them to manage many aspects of the business, and we’ve also created a mobile app for iOS and Android that allows subscribers to read the news while on-the-go.
Since the first build we have been consistently making sure the site is up-to-date and well-maintained, as well as taking care of all their hosting and mobile app needs.
BookingBug is the Market Leading Appointment Scheduling Software & Event Management Platform for all Business sizes. They work with multiple large enterprise clients.
We've been working with BookingBug to write, design and develop their developer documentation. These docs allow 3rd party developers to integrate their applications with the platform. Written in mark down and served with an express based node app fully UI tested with cucumber and webdriver.io.
Additionally to this we've been building the new developer portal where users can access their keys and forum. This was built as a clients service unit tested ES6 stage-0 node API. The framework for its open source check it out https://github.com/joelove/node-api
Change the picture is a high-quality 360 degree photographic agency based in London. They work with multiple businesses up and down the UK and have even photographed some of the top hotels in Dubai. There's a shot in particular from the helipad on the Burj al Arab that scares the hell out of us. Our head developer had to lay down for a week.
We created a bespoke CMS to allow the upload of big panoramic tours and management of the site content. It was built on a bespoke PHP framework.

The Gentle Mystics are a excellent band from the UK (here's one of our office favourites). They came to us to redevelop their website from page designs provided to us and implement wordpress as the CMS.
We developed the site to be responsive. We currently have a code refactor in the pipeline and hope to get the next version up soon.
We're huge fans so when we got the email asking us to get involved we screamed like school girls at a One Direction show (before Zayn left).
Attic is a great tool that does all the magic we need, but you have to run it with certain configuration options on the command line. Rather than specify these in a crontab and flood it with multiple entries for all the different tweaks we might want to do, I wrote a wrapper script to do it.
The aim of this program is to provide functionality and configurability to the backup jobs on top of that which Attic provides. This includes a more detailed log file, weekly validity checks and email notifications. It's also written to depend on the use of SSH keys when connecting to the remote host (where the backups are stored), to keep your data safe.Fork Star Download
A local cleaning company got us to do a site refresh along with a refresh of the branding design. Using front end seed we designed and developed their site.
Deployed to Heroku and set it to auto build on our Gitlab CI. we've been able to reduce the cost of hosting by booting the server when requested. Making the hosting cost next to nothing.
Based in central london, pre-flight is a visual communication agency specialising in graphic design for publishing, print, digital, marketing and corporate identity.
Built on FrontEndSeed we worked with pre-flight and designed a small portfolio detailing their services and more.
As with a lot of our smaller sites we've deployed it to Heroku and set it to auto build on our Gitlab CI. we've been able to reduce the cost of hosting by booting the server when requested. Making the hosting cost next to nothing.
An ultra-lightweight API framework using Express as the web server. Mocha for the unit tests, Knex.js and Bookshelf.js
The app provides you with an end to end tested node API with a Postgres API. We used this framework when creating the BookingBug Developer Documentation
